Bio:
I'm a community-based, home visiting OT, specialising in equipment prescription and home modifications. As an OT, my goal is to assist individuals in maintaining their independence with their meaningful activities in a safe manner. Meaningful activities can be something as simple as showering yourself or something as exciting as going shopping with your friends. To achieve this, I travel to my clients' homes and complete home assessments. These assessments assist me in identifying a client's level of functional mobility, independence and safety within their home environment. Where necessary, I then make the appropriate recommendations for specific equipment items or home modification that could improve performance and maintain independence.
