Bio:

Emma has been working as a midwife for the past three years specialising in regional and remote midwifery care. Her passions include supporting and advocating for women and their partners to give them an informed birth and journey into parenthood. She is hoping to expand her knowledge further and undertake a degree in tropical medicine within the next two years which will give her more expertise when she travels overseas to third world countries to practice and teach nursing and midwifery. She additionally undertook a certificate in Aissitant in Nursing while she was completing her degrees and found that this and working as a support worker as she studied gave her additional experience prior to working in the field as a registered nurse and midwife.

Emma has mentored nursing and midwifery students in her career and appreciates how difficult it can be entering a fast paced profession in the healthcare field but would love to support as many prospective students on their journey as she can.
