Bio:

Steph is a registered psychologist who is currently working in a private practice with children, teenagers and their families. She has specific knowledge about childhood development and mental health disorders, as her normal duties include: diagnosing mental health conditions (e.g. ADHD, learning disabilities); counselling young people experiencing mental health issues (e.g. depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, anger); teaching parents strategies to help their children; liaising with other professionals (e.g. teachers, doctors, lawyers, health workers) and running group therapy programs.

Steph completed a bachelor degree in psychology and a one year master degree in professional psychology at Curtin University. Prior to her current job, she worked as a disability support worker, a child protection worker and as a counsellor.
