Zubair Shariff

Zubair is soon to begin his Graduate Program at BHP where he will be working within the company’s Technology Division. He recently completed his Masters of Computer Science with Monash University after completing his Bachelor of Commerce. After a stint working for the bank while studying, he realised that maybe Commerce wasn't the right path after all, and during his final semester of his Bachelor took an online coding course before deciding to then pursue his Masters in Computer Science. During his studies Zubair was fortunate enough to complete internships during both courses, with focuses primarily on Investment Analysis and then later in Technology Consulting.

Outside of work and study, Zubair is an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and also frequents the gym. He has a strong belief that retaining hobbies throughout your studies and working life is a key component of being able to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. As well as serving to also help you develop core skills such as stress management, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
