Jack is a Controls Technician working within the construction industry for a HVAC Automation Company. A brief description of a BMS (Building Management System) Controls Technician is a professional who specializes in the installation, programming, and maintenance of building automation systems. These systems are used to manage and control various building systems such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), lighting, security, and access control. He completed an apprenticeship of 4 years in Electronics and Instrumentation working at such buildings including Crown, Fiona Stanley, Kalgoorlie Prison and Shopping Centres. He completed 4-5 TAFE courses after high school but couldn’t find what he wanted until he completed a small course for electrical which he loved. Just shows you don’t always know what you want to do with your life until something comes along.
