Shaun is a Civil and Environmental Engineer with 4 years' experience within the industry. Shaun has experience working in urban development, storm water design, road engineering and environmental engineering. Shaun's current role is an Environmental engineer at Stantec's Perth office however, he is currently placed full time at Argyle Diamond Mine working FIFO (fly-in fly-out) within the contaminated sites closure team. For this role he undertakes several activities including ground and surface water sampling, soil sampling, management of landfills, management of hazardous substances and drone surveying and surveillance. Having begun his career in civil engineering, Shaun transitioned into the environmental engineering field due the balance of outdoor and office-based work. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, swimming, hiking and plays trombone in the local army reserves band.
